Description

Business Operations Manager Job Description

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in driving the successful operation of our retail business. Your primary focus will be on maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness, presentation, and visual display in our retail outlets, sales carts, and photo booths.

The successful candidate will oversee a team of Team Leaders and their respective front-line colleagues, providing coaching, appraisals, and personal development plans to ensure their growth and success. You will also be responsible for planning, booking, and delivering on- and off-the-job training to maintain exceptional service standards.

Additional key responsibilities include:

  • Compiling duty schedules for your area to ensure operational readiness and sufficient time off for colleagues.
  • Openly communicating information through various channels, including department meetings and briefings.
  • Motivating colleagues through incentive and recognition programs.
  • Ensuring departmental policies, procedures, and performance standards are implemented and maintained throughout your area.
  • Reviewing and updating departmental policies, procedures, and performance standards to ensure high levels of customer service.

To excel in this role, you will require excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A strong background in retail operations, combined with good communication and management skills, is essential for success in this position.

Key qualifications include:

  • Higher secondary or equivalent education.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role in a retail environment.
  • Good spoken and written English skills.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Training and performance evaluation skills.
  • Excellent computer and conflict resolving skills.
  • Advanced time management skills.
