Job Description

Civil engineer with experience in steel structure detailing, erection & fabrication, ensures the safety of steel structures used in steel & tensile structures. They perform structural analysis, develop construction plans, and oversee the building process to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. 

Key Responsibilities:

Detailing & Fabrication  

Creating workshop drawings, structural designs for steel calculations to ensure stability and safety, manage workshop fabrication activities and assembly 

Construction Oversight

Conducting site inspections, and ensuring compliance with design specifications.

Materials submittal and project management : 

Evaluating and selecting  project materials, cost estimation & projects timeline under supervision.

Collaboration:

Working with architects, other departments, and contractors to develop project plans and specifications.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. 
• 5 to 7 years of professional experience in steel structure detailing & erection. 
• Proven track record in steel structures fabrication. 
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, TEKLA, SAP,STAAD.
• Proven experience in leading workers and installation teams. 
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Familiarity with industry standards, codes, and best practices.
