Responsible for the design, implementation, and management of HVAC systems, fire fighting systems, plumbing, and drainage systems for various projects, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and local/international standards, while supervising execution and monitoring quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare designs and engineering drawings using specialized software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
Perform heat load calculations and determine the capacity of HVAC equipment and mechanical systems.
Design HVAC systems, fire fighting systems, plumbing, and drainage systems according to international codes and standards.
Review and approve shop drawings and technical specifications.
Supervise on-site installation works and ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
Coordinate mechanical works with civil and electrical works to ensure project integration.
Prepare periodic technical reports on work progress and resolve technical issues on-site.
Select and approve mechanical materials and equipment in accordance with specifications.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards at all project stages.
Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the design and execution of HVAC, fire fighting, plumbing, and drainage works.
Proficiency in engineering design software (AutoCAD, Revit, HAP, etc.).
Knowledge of international codes and standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, IPC, etc.).
Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
