Sales Engineer - KSA
We are seeking a skilled Sales Engineer to join our team in Saudi Arabia, based in Dammam.
What You Will Do
- Deliver expert technical support and guidance to partners and end-users throughout the sales process.
- Lead product demos, conduct site surveys, and manage pilot installations.
- Support the sales organization in responding to tenders, RFPs (requests for proposal), and RFQs (requests for quotation).
- Provide technical training sessions and ongoing support to Axis Partners and end-users.
- Stay current on Axis products and innovations to develop customized customer solutions.
- Manage technical logistics for Axis-hosted events, exhibitions, and trade shows.
- Collaborate with Key Account Managers and Inside Sales to identify, influence, and secure new projects.
- Participate in joint customer visits with Key Account Managers to present product demos and coordinate pilots.
- Support the sales team in evaluating tenders to prioritize high-potential projects that offer strong ROI.
About You
- You will have 10+ years of experience in the video surveillance industry or IT channel, with strong knowledge of networking, IP-based technologies, and related applications.
- You will have sound knowledge of network infrastructure (TCP/IP), VMS software, and hardware technology.
- You will have proven experience in pre-sales within the IT channel, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- You will have excellent organizational and follow-through skills; high level of self-initiative, self-motivation, and sales-oriented ability to provide effective presentations and demonstrations to all levels, including Axis corporate management.
- You will have excellent communication skills to develop internal and external relationships.
- You will be proficient in English, with Arabic preferred.
- You will have a preferred industrial certification in the IT and CCTV industries.
- You will have preferred industry experience in ELV (Extra Low Voltage) systems.
