🔹 Job Title:
HSE Officer – Power Plant Operations | Al Qassim, KSA | ACWA Power
🔹 Job Summary:
Direct & Explicit Experience in Power Generation Sector is Mandatory – Non-Negotiable
This role supports the implementation and enforcement of HSSE activities to ensure safety, compliance, and operational excellence. Candidates must have at least 5 years of HSSE experience in a Power Plant environment.
Candidates without direct power plant experience will not be considered.
🔹 Job Purpose:
To prevent harm to people, equipment, and the environment by ensuring compliance with legal, organizational, and contractual HSSE standards.
🔹 Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental, or Engineering (or equivalent)
- NEBOSH, OSHA, IOSH, or IEMA certification
- Membership in recognized HSSE institutions (e.g., IOSH, IEMA)
🔹 Minimum Experience:
- 5+ years of HSSE experience in Power Plant operations
- Candidates without direct power plant experience will not be considered.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct risk assessments and enforce Permit to Work systems
- Monitor HSSE performance through daily site tours and reporting
- Support emergency preparedness and response planning
- Deliver HSSE training and awareness campaigns
- Maintain stakeholder relationships with contractors and regulators
- Ensure availability of PPE and safety materials
- Participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis
