Scope Of Responsibilities
This role reports to the Senior Director, International Field and Partner Marketing, but has a strong dotted line into the sales leadership team.
The Senior Marketing Manager, Middle East, is a critical role which functions as a tightly aligned strategic member of the Ciena field and partner sales team. The role has responsibility for developing and executing the regional strategic marketing plan to drive brand awareness and support revenue growth within the region.
This person will work closely with the sales team, partners, and other stakeholders to achieve regional business objectives.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy for the ME
- region, aligned with Ciena's global marketing strategy and regional business goals.
- Conduct market analysis, identify key target audiences, and understand the competitive landscape within the ME region.
- Develop and manage the regional marketing budget and allocate resources effectively.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure marketing program effectiveness.
Key Skills
- Strong understanding of the telecommunications, datacenter and networking landscape in the Middle East region.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on the technology or telecommunications industry.
- Proven experience in developing and executing successful marketing programs in the ME region.
