We are currently looking for an experienced and strategic Financial Controller to join our team and be based at our Alexandria Plant. The ideal candidate will bring deep financial expertise, leadership capability, and a strong background in heavy industry or manufacturing environments.
Position: Financial Controller
Location: Alexandria, Egypt (Plant-based)
Experience Required: 10–15 years, with minimum 5 years in a Financial Controller role
Industry Preference: Heavy Industry / Manufacturing / Industrial Sector
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all plant-level financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and external regulatory requirements
- Lead financial reporting processes and deliver accurate, timely financial statements
- Partner with plant leadership to support strategic planning and performance improvement
- Implement internal controls and drive operational efficiency across finance functions
- Manage audits and liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA or CPA/ACCA is a plus)
- Proven track record in financial leadership roles within heavy industry or large-scale manufacturing
- Strong understanding of industrial cost structures, CAPEX/OPEX management, and ERP systems
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
