South Sound Studios is a creative production studio based in Amman, specializing in podcast recording, video content creation, and dynamic social media reels. We are looking for a skilled and motivated Video Editor to join our team full-time.
This role offers flexible working hours that vary depending on project needs, making it ideal for professionals who thrive in dynamic creative environments.
Responsibilities:
- Edit podcast video and audio recordings for publishing on multiple platforms (YouTube, Spotify, etc.)
- Create short-form video content (reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) tailored for social media engagement
- Collaborate closely with producers, hosts, and clients to bring a creative vision to life
- Manage and organize media assets efficiently
- Add motion graphics, captions, and branding elements where necessary
- Ensure final videos meet quality, style, and delivery standards
- Stay updated with current video trends, formats, and platform-specific requirements
Requirements:
- Proven experience in video editing (portfolio required)
- Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro (or equivalent editing software)
- Familiarity with After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve is a plus
- Strong understanding of audio editing for podcast production
- Ability to work independently and manage time across multiple projects
- Creative mindset with attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative studio environment
