El Sewedy Industries Group is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our team in one of our companies in the Building Materials sector.

 Job Description:
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of mechanical systems and equipment in our production facilities. Your role will include:

• Supervising installation, operation, and maintenance of mechanical equipment.
• Performing troubleshooting and root cause analysis for mechanical failures.
• Developing preventive and predictive maintenance plans to minimize downtime.
• Supporting production teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Preparing technical reports, documentation, and maintenance records.
• Coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth plant operations.
• Following safety standards and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 1–4 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in the building materials / industrial / manufacturing sector.
• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and maintenance of production machinery.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Team player with strong communication skills.
• Suez resident is preferred.
