Job summary
Project Engineer – Façade in Qatar: Execute façade projects, ensuring high-quality delivery that meets client requirements, timelines, and standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Experience: Proven experience in façade engineering, covering design, analysis, and execution of façade systems.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software, BIM, and relevant engineering tools.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of façade systems, local building codes, regulations, and industry standards in Qatar.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with architects, designers, and project managers to understand project objectives and technical requirements.
- Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments to recommend suitable façade systems.
- Prepare detailed design proposals, including schematic drawings, specifications, and material selections.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders for smooth execution from concept through completion.
- Oversee preparation of construction documents, such as shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation instructions.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Provide technical guidance and support to installation teams during execution.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to meet milestones and deliverables.
- Serve as the technical liaison between clients, consultants, and contractors, addressing queries and providing solutions.
- Stay current with industry trends, innovations, and best practices to enhance project outcomes.
