Design Coordination & Implementation:

• Assist in the development and execution of retail store designs, ensuring they align with brand guidelines, operational requirements, and market trends.
• Collaborate with external designers, architects, and internal teams to develop conceptual and detailed designs for new stores and refurbishments.
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure design specifications are adhered to during the construction and fit-out phases.

Project Management Support:

• Track and monitor design milestones, ensuring that projects are delivered within budget and on time.
• Participate in project meetings and provide updates on design-related aspects, ensuring all issues are identified and addressed.
• Assist in the preparation of project timelines, budget forecasts, and design documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

Brand and Retail Space Optimization:

• Ensure retail designs are optimized for space usage, functionality, and customer experience while meeting safety and regulatory standards.
• Conduct market research on retail trends to propose innovative design solutions that enhance customer engagement and maximize retail performance.
• Maintain a consistent design quality across all retail outlets, ensuring design specifications are met in each phase.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:

• Work with the leasing and operations teams to integrate tenant requirements into retail designs and ensure successful space allocation.
• Ensure alignment between design teams, architects, contractors, and other key stakeholders throughout the design and delivery process.
• Provide guidance to junior design staff and ensure their work adheres to project objectives.

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• 3–5 years of experience in retail design, interior design, or related fields, preferably with exposure to large-scale retail projects.
• Strong proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, etc.).
• Deep understanding of retail design principles, customer experience, and space optimization.
• Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of retail trends, construction processes, and building codes.
