As a Project Engineer, you’ll oversee all engineering deliverables for your assigned scope, from design validation and approvals to procurement, compliance, and on-site execution. You’ll work alongside Project Engineers, Site
Engineers, Supervisors, and Foremen, coordinating closely with planning, commercial, and MEP teams to ensure successful delivery on time, on budget, and fully compliant.

About Your Team
This role reports directly to the Operations Director and is part of the ALEC Data Centre Solutions core delivery team. The project delivery function oversees execution, programme coordination, stakeholder engagement, and quality control across all phases of construction. The team works closely with Planning, Commercial, Procurement, QA/QC, HSE, and Site Operations to ensure flawless execution.
Your Role
- Review and interpret civil engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate execution.
- Prepare and manage material submittals, RFIs, method statements, and risk assessments.
- Monitor site progress, ensuring compliance with quality standards, safety procedures, and
- timelines.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and progress documentation.
- Support project planning, cost control, and procurement activities.
- Assist in resolving technical and site-related issues proactively.
- Participate in inspections, testing, and handover processes.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in large-scale civil construction projects.
- Strong technical understanding of concrete, formwork, structural works, and finishing.
- Familiarity with construction codes, safety regulations, and QA/QC procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project planning tools (Primavera P6 or MS Project).
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
