Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable Warehouse Assistant to manage the daily operations of our warehouse. Reporting to the Warehouse Keeper, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain process, from receiving and organizing inventory to preparing orders for shipment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming shipments of electronic and audio parts.
- Stock Organization: Organize and maintain warehouse stock according to established procedures to ensure easy accessibility and accurate tracking.
- Order Fulfillment: Prepare, package, and process outgoing orders for delivery or shipment with a high degree of accuracy.
- Auditing: Assist in regular inventory counts and cycle checks to maintain inventory accuracy and report any discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Operations: Support the loading and unloading of goods and ensure the safe handling of all products.
- Safety & Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment by adhering to company policies and safety regulations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team and other colleagues to achieve daily operational goals and ensure seamless workflow.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy is required, with hands-on experience using inventory management systems or software being a strong plus.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Physical Ability: Must be physically capable of lifting and moving medium-weight items and standing for extended periods.
- Team Player: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Work Ethic: A proactive and reliable individual who can follow instructions and work independently when required.
- Commitment: Ability to work full-time on-site in Alexandria and adhere to a fixed schedule.
