We are looking for an Accounts Payable Accountant based in Cologne or Berlin who would like to join our Accounting Team with fresh ideas and organizational talent.
Responsibilities
Checking, account assignment and posting of incoming invoice, Travel expenses, credit cards and other accounting transactions
Processing payment transactions and monitoring open items
Account reconciliation and clarification of differences
Support in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements (HGB)
Qualifications
Commercial training with a focus on financial accounting or comparable training / study
Several years of experience as a tax clerk or industrial clerk
Practical knowledge of accounting in accordance with HGB
Good understanding of national sales tax law
Hands-on experience with ERP systems (currently MS Navision, transitioning to SAP)
Fluent in German (minimum B2 level), with good English proficiency
