Roles & Responsibilities
- Plan and oversee the daily scheduling, routing, and dispatching of delivery vehicles.
- Ensure on-time delivery of products to customers in line with service level agreements
- Monitor vehicle performance, fuel usage, and distribution efficiency.
- Supervise and guide drivers, dispatch teams, and distribution staff.
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle registration, insurance, and inspection schedules.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize delivery routes and reduce costs.
- Maintain accurate records of distribution activities, deliveries, and incidents
- Resolve customer complaints related to delivery delays, damages, or quality issues
- Prepare regular reports on distribution performance, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Analyze fleet data and prepare reports on utilization, costs, and performance indicators.
- Handle emergencies, breakdowns, and accidents, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up.
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of drivers and fleet staff, ensuring adherence to policies.
- Coordinate with the procurement team for vehicle acquisitions, spare parts, and service contracts.
- Analyze fleet data and prepare reports on utilization, costs, and performance indicators.
