Roles & Responsibilities
- Inspect vehicles to assess the extent of body damage.
- Repair dents, dings, and structural damage using appropriate tools and techniques (hammering, welding, pulling, filling, etc.).
- Cut, grind, and shape metal parts to fit vehicle body structure.
- Align and fit panels, doors, bumpers, and other body parts.
- Weld replacement parts into place when necessary.
- Work closely with painters to prepare vehicles for painting.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in good condition.
- Ensure repairs meet safety and quality standards.
