We’re hiring! The Accounter is hiring a Tax Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with registration/deregistration for VAT, Corporate Tax (CT), and Excise Tax.
• Assist clients with other tax-related services with the Federal Tax Authority (FTA), including submitting Voluntary Disclosures, Refunds, Reconsideration Requests, and Amendment applications.
• Review tax returns prepared by the team and submit returns on behalf of clients.
• Guide clients on how to make tax payments and ensure payments are made on time.
• Resolve client queries

• related to tax calculations, returns, and assessments.
• Communicate with the FTA on behalf of clients.
• Review tax documents uploaded by clients and advise the accounting team on tax treatment.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of tax returns filed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in tax, preferably with an outsourced accounting firm.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Customer-oriented attitude and strong communication skills.
• Tax compliance diploma is a plus
