Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools and methodology throughout the facilities and processes.
Drive the standardization of processes and implementation of metrics and best practices.
Conduct optimization studies and perform detailed engineering analysis of existing facilities, systems & process equipment.
Lead and support root cause analysis when issues arise and suggest corrective and preventative actions.
Maintain KPI targets in
line with business strategy.
Assist in the training of staff ensuring that they develop the skills to become subject matter experts in various systems and processes; enabling them to implement and sustain the improvements.
Introduce the basic lean tools to the shop floor level such as 5S, Visual Management, Standard operation procedures, 9 type of waste, Process mapping, Lead Time breakdown, Takt Time, …etc.
Analyze the processes using the proper tool of process mapping such as VSM, Flow chart, Spaghetti Diagram, Lead Time breakdown, …etc
Making manuals such as (SOP,QCO,TPM,OPL)
Analyze the process right loading and number of operators by using work Load
analysis and Yamazoumi Chart.
Calculate OEE and improve it.
Develop operational strategies to achieve production and financial objectives.
Maintain production documentations
Assist in developing production budgets and schedules.
Supervising the implementation of plans and monitoring the efficiency of implementation.
Implement cost reduction initiatives while maintaining high quality standards.
Provides training and guidance to team members to accomplish production goals.
Investigate problems, analyze root causes and derive resolutions.
Responsible for implementing any changes to the production plan operations
Monitoring waste rates, production scrap analyzing root causes and suggesting means to reduce waste
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering / Production / Industrial / Chemical or any related department of engineering
