Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Back-End Developer to join our development team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and high-performance server-side logic, databases, and APIs. As a senior team member, you will also mentor junior developers, contribute to architectural decisions, and collaborate across functions to deliver exceptional digital products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure server-side applications and APIs.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps, product managers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality software.
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot bottlenecks or bugs.
- Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following best practices.
- Participate in system design and architectural discussions.
- Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior and mid-level developers.
- Ensure data integrity and security through best practices in storage and access.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and propose improvements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of back-end development experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong experience with [insert preferred language: Node.js, Python, Java, Go, etc.].
- Experience with RESTful API design and development.
- Proficiency with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Knowledge of version control systems (Git).
- Solid understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka).
- Experience with GraphQL is a plus.
- Contributions to open-source projects or technical blogs.
