Job Description
- Oversee civil works on school construction sites, including foundations, concrete, finishing, and utilities.
- Review technical drawings, project plans, and specifications to ensure compliance with design standards.
- Supervise and coordinate contractors, subcontractors, and site workers to ensure timely project execution.
- Monitor construction progress, quality, and safety according to Egyptian codes and international standards.
- Conduct site inspections, testing, and reporting on civil works.
- Manage budgets, resources, and schedules to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and project managers to solve on-site challenges.
- Prepare progress reports, documentation, and technical recommendations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 1 to 5 years of relevant experience in civil engineering, preferably in educational or institutional projects.
- Proficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety.
- Ability to work on-site and adapt to varying project demands.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or progress toward licensure is an advantage.
