Job Description

Prepare comprehensive design packages for firefighting systems, including:

•                 Preliminary design reports

•                 Technical specifications

•                 Design drawings (AutoCAD/Revit)

•                 Design systems for:

•                 Wet pipe sprinkler systems

•                 Dry pipe sprinkler systems

•                 Foam suppression systems

•                 CO₂ extinguishing systems

•                 FM200 clean agent systems

•                 Perform hydraulic calculations and system sizing based on project requirements.

•                 Ensure full compliance with:

•                 NFPA 13, 14, 15, 11, 16, 20

•                 Egyptian Fire Fighting Code

•                 Coordinate with project managers, estimation teams, and site engineers to align design deliverables with execution plans.

•                 Support technical documentation for authority approvals and client presentations.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Fire Protection Engineering.

•                 2–5 years of experience in design of firefighting systems.

•                 Strong command of NFPA standards and Egyptian fire safety regulations.

•                 Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and hydraulic calculation tools.

•                 Familiarity with FM Global and Civil Defense requirements.

 

✅ Preferred Skills:

•                 Strong technical writing and documentation skills.

•                 Bilingual proficiency (Arabic & English) is a plus.

•                 Ability to manage multiple design packages and meet deadlines.

•                 Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities.
