We’re Hiring at Ylights: Finance Officer
Location: Plot 770, Industrial Zone, New Cairo
Ylights is a modern lighting brand that blends design with function — sold exclusively online and offline. We’re growing fast, and we’re looking for a detail-driven, organized Finance Officer to join our operations team.

Key Responsibilities
· Record and manage daily financial transactions: sales, purchases, returns, expenses
· Maintain accurate ledgers and financial records
· Reconcile revenues across all channels: website, marketplaces, and B2B orders
· Calculate platform commissions, VAT, discounts, and fees
· Validate order records with sales and logistics teams
· Monitor and document company expenses (production, assembly, office, petty cash)
· Review supporting documents and assist in payment processing
· Follow up on POs submitted to workshops and track their financial impact
· Create and manage separate cost centers for each workshop
· Track material usage, monitor raw material consumption, and flag variances
· Assist in setting and reviewing standard costs with production teams
· Help control waste, over-ordering, and inefficiencies in workshop spending
· Support inventory tracking and costing across all products
· Maintain costing sheets and flag discrepancies
· Assist in preparing financial reports and supporting tax compliance
· Keep records ready for audits, filings, and financial reviews
Requirements:
* 2–4 years of experience in finance, accounting, or cost control
* Proficient in Excel and familiar with accounting tools and financial systems
* Detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of handling multiple workflows
* Strong communicator who can collaborate across production, sales, and logistics
* Bonus: experience in manufacturing, inventory control, or e-commerce finance
