Job Description

Looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Purchasing Accountant to handle procurement accounting, vendor coordination, and cost tracking for materials and services across various construction and facility management projects. The successful candidate will ensure accurate financial records and maintain strong supplier relationships while supporting the procurement and finance departments.

Job Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Process purchase orders (POs) and match with invoices, delivery notes, and contracts.
• Track procurement expenses and ensure proper cost allocation to projects or departments.
• Maintain accurate records of supplier accounts, payments, and reconciliations.
• Will be available for outdoor purchases if needed.
• Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and company procurement policies.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly reports, including cost analyses and budget comparisons.
• Follow up on outstanding invoices and resolve any billing discrepancies with suppliers.
• Coordinate with the warehouse and logistics teams to confirm receipt of goods/services.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing accounting, preferably in the construction or contracting sector.
• Good understanding of accounting principles, cost control, and project budgeting.
• Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and able to work with accounting/ERP systems (e.g., Odoo).
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Good command of English (spoken and written).
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
