Responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, compiling and analyzing data, processing tax transactions, assisting in general accounting, managing petty cash, and supporting the preparation of financial reporting.
Responsibilities
- General Accounting:
- Record day-to-day financial transactions and ensure accuracy in ledger entries.
- Reconcile bank statements and maintain financial records.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Tax Compliance:
- Prepares and files monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns in compliance with related regulations.
- Assist in preparing and filing tax returns, including income tax, sales tax, and payroll tax returns.
- Maintain records of tax payments, deductions, and credits to ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Make necessary tax adjustments for expenses in compliance with tax regulations and accounting standards
- Petty Cash Operations:
- Monitor and reconcile petty cash transactions, ensuring accurate records and timely replenishments.
- Analyze financial data to assess petty cash compliance and recommend corrective actions if necessary.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to address any related issues proactively.
- Financial Reporting Support:
- Assist in preparing financial statements, such as balance sheets, income, and cash flow statements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience in accounting or related roles.
- Very good at English Language
- Strong knowledge of inventory management principles, procedures, and best practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of tax preparation, general accounting practices, and financial analysis is advantageous.
