Job Description

• Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts and subcontracts for construction projects, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to clarify contract requirements and resolve contractual issues.
• Monitor contract execution to ensure all terms, conditions, and deliverables are met throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate contractual risks, providing recommendations for risk management strategies.
• Maintain accurate records of contract documents, correspondence, amendments, and claims.
• Support the tendering and bidding process by preparing contract documentation and evaluating proposals.
• Liaise with legal counsel and external parties to resolve disputes and ensure contractual obligations are fulfilled.
• Track project milestones and deliverables, ensuring timely submission of invoices and payments.
• Advise on contract modifications, extensions, and renewals as required by project developments.
• Stay updated on industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to construction contracts.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of proven experience in contract management within the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, legal terminology, and industry standards.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
• Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple contracts and deadlines simultaneously.
• Familiarity with local and international construction laws and regulations.
