This is a full-time remote opportunity, open to candidates based across the EMEA region.
About the Role
As a Document Controller, you will be responsible for managing, organizing, and maintaining critical project and business documentation in a secure and efficient manner. You will play a vital role in ensuring that all records, reports, and documents are up to date, easily accessible, and compliant with company standards. This position is ideal for professionals who excel at precision, coordination, and maintaining structure in a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain document control systems and processes to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Register, track, and archive incoming and outgoing documents in both digital and physical formats.
- Ensure version control and proper distribution of documents to relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain confidentiality and secure access to sensitive information.
- Coordinate with project managers and department heads to ensure
- timely submission and approval of documents.
- Prepare reports and summaries related to document status and workflows.
- Support internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation when required.
- Continuously improve document control procedures to optimize efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in document control or records management, preferably within a software or technology company.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Familiarity with document control systems, digital collaboration tools, and cloud-based platforms.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and document management software.
- Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
