What You'll Do
As a Video Editor, you'll be responsible for creating high-quality videos that are engaging and professional. Your tasks will include:
- Cutting and stitching video clips together to make complete, smooth videos.
- Helping build a consistent video style and branding across all platforms.
- Making rough cuts and final edits for different types of videos (Reels, YouTube, TikTok, ads, etc.).
- Adding effects, graphics, titles, animated text, music, and sound effects to make videos more attractive.
- Using transitions, color correction, and sound mixing to enhance the final output.
- Searching for and applying new editing styles and techniques to improve the work.
- Managing video editing for content shot in-house and externally.
- Working closely with the marketing team and other departments to deliver the needed content.
- Handling technical settings like frame rates, resolution, and exporting formats.
- Creating simple motion graphics (animated logos, text animation, lower thirds, etc.) for most videos.
- Meeting clients (when needed) to understand their video vision and preferences.
- Using company-provided editing tools, stock footage, music libraries, and templates.
- Preparing quick storyboards (drafts) before starting major video projects.
- Reviewing raw footage, selecting the best shots, and organizing them for editing.
- Editing short videos for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts, as well as longer cinematic edits.
- Making sure all video cuts and transitions feel smooth and professional.
- Adding sound effects and syncing audio tracks properly.
- Working closely with directors and producers to finalize projects.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate should have:
- Strong experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, and Lightworks.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and deliver under tight deadlines.
- A creative sense of storytelling and strong editing skills.
- Good communication skills to take feedback and deliver what’s needed.
- Ability to create visual drafts and basic storyboards.
- Teamwork attitude and professional work ethics.
- A bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, or related fields is a plus (but not required if you have strong experience).
- Previous experience working as a video editor (freelance or full-time).
- Good skills in simple motion graphics and animation.
- Familiarity with 3D composition and special effects is a plus.
- A strong portfolio/showreel of previous work (this is mandatory — no application will be reviewed without it).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Fluency in English and Arabic; other languages are a plus.
- Basic skills in shooting videos/photos are preferred.
➔ Preferably:
- Experience working on social media accounts in the UAE or Gulf region.
- Must submit examples of full accounts (Instagram pages, YouTube channels, TikTok accounts, etc.) they worked on.
Job Details
- Work Type: 100% Remote (Work from Home).

- Software and Stock Access: All editing subscriptions, stock footage, and stock music will be provided by the company.
