Located less than 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport, this integrated resort offering 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theatre, nightclub, and five-star spa is currently under construction on a picturesque island that gracefully curves into the Arabian Gulf.About The PositionWynn Al Marjan Island is currently seeking a Network Technician to join the IT Operations Engineering & Support team.ResponsibilitiesThe primary duties and responsibilities of this role are: Install and configure network hardware such as routers, switches, and access points Maintain and repair network infrastructure including cabling and peripheral devices Monitor network performance and conduct regular diagnostics to identify bottlenecks or failures Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues Implement network security protocols and assist in firewall configurations Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, changes, and incidents Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to procure and deploy network solutions Provide technical support and training to staff on network usage and best practices Schedule and perform upgrades and preventive maintenance with minimal disruption to operations About YouThe ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field Minimum 1–2 years of experience in network support or IT infrastructure Proficiency in LAN/WAN technologies, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and VPN Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds), ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow), Knowledge of network security practices and compliance standards Experience with wireless systems and controllers (e.g., WLC) Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, or equivalent are a plus Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Requires the ability to lift and move objects weighing as much as 9 kg.
