To lead the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) practices at the field level, ensuring compliance with United Energy Egypt’s HSE policies, national regulations, and international standards. The HSE Lead plays a vital role in fostering a proactive HSE culture across field operations under the supervision of the Field HSE Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out regular site inspections, hazard identification, and risk assessments.
- Ensure timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis in coordination with the HSE Field Manager.
- Ensure proper reporting, documentation, and follow-up on incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions.
- Ensure contractor compliance with field-specific HSE requirements and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and field practices.
- 7+ years of experience in HSE roles within the oil & gas industry.
