Job Description

Job Purpose:

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering key projects within defined scope, timeline, and budget. This role requires strong leadership, organization, and communication skills to coordinate cross-functional teams, manage project risks, and ensure successful outcomes. The Project Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and operational excellence throughout the project lifecycle.

 

Accountabilities:

1. Planning & Coordination:

  • Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables in alignment with business goals.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
  • Coordinate internal resources and external partners to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Utilize project management tools to organize timelines, tasks, and workflows efficiently.

 

2. Execution & Monitoring:

  • Track project progress using dashboards and tracking software.
  • Monitor performance, risks, and budgets to ensure compliance with objectives.
  • Implement quality and safety standards across all project stages.
  • Adjust plans and priorities as needed to maintain alignment with goals.

 

3. Communication & Stakeholder Management:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for all project stakeholders.
  • Prepare and deliver regular project status reports to management and clients.
  • Conduct meetings and ensure all teams remain aligned with project deliverables.
  • Utilize collaboration tools for effective communication and documentation.

 

4. Risk & Issue Management:

  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain detailed risk and change control logs throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Troubleshoot operational and technical issues to minimize project disruption.
  • Implement corrective and preventive actions to ensure continuous improvement.

 

5. Team Leadership:

  • Lead, guide, and motivate project team members toward achieving project objectives.
  • Assign tasks and monitor deliverables through project management platforms.
  • Foster collaboration, accountability, and a high-performance team culture.

 

Good to Have:

Experience or familiarity with the following tools and systems is preferred:

  • Planning & Scheduling: MS Project, Primavera, Smartsheet, Gantt tools
  • Task & Workflow Management: Jira, Asana, Monday.com, Trello, ClickUp
  • Collaboration & Communication: Microsoft Teams, Slack, SharePoint, Confluence
  • Documentation & Reporting: Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Google Workspace
  • Data & Dashboarding: Power BI, Tableau, Excel Dashboards
  • ERP / Business Systems: SAP, Oracle, Odoo, Salesforce
  • Agile / Scrum Tools: Jira Agile, Azure DevOps, Scrum Boards, Confluence

 

Internal Relationships:

  • Project Teams: Lead and coordinate efforts across departments to ensure alignment and project success.
  • Management: Provide regular updates and reports on project progress and risk mitigation.

 

External Relationships:

  • Clients: Serve as the main point of contact for project updates and communications.
  • Vendors & Partners: Coordinate with suppliers and service providers to ensure timely delivery of project components.

 

Work Environment:

  • In Office: 100%
  • Work Hazard: Normal
  • Working Days: 5 days per week
  • Days Off: Friday & Saturday
  • Working Hours: 9 am to 6 pm

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3–7 years of experience in project management (industry-specific experience is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
  • Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent are an advantage.
  • Hands-on experience with modern project management software and digital tools.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
