Job Description
- Leadership & Supervision: Direct and develop engineering teams across two plants, setting priorities, managing performance, and ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Factory Engineering: Oversee maintenance, projects, and production line efficiency, ensuring adherence to KPIs for safety, quality, productivity, and cost.
- Budgeting & Planning: Prepare and manage annual factory and CapEx budgets, monitor financial performance, and optimize resources to achieve business targets.
- Maintenance & Quality: Ensure effective preventive maintenance strategies and technical solutions that enhance equipment reliability and product quality.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead SME pillar implementation, promote innovation, and drive process improvement initiatives to reduce waste and enhance productivity.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all operations meet safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- People Management: Build engineering capabilities through training, succession planning, and performance management, fostering collaboration and best-practice sharing between plants.
- Policies & Systems: Develop and update engineering procedures, SOPs, and control systems to maintain operational excellence and accountability.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (Master’s is a plus).
- 12–15 years of experience in engineering or maintenance management within FMCG or manufacturing, including leadership of multi-plant operations.
- Strong expertise in maintenance systems, project management, and key manufacturing KPIs (OEE, MTTR, MTTF).
- Proven track record in driving continuous improvement and cost optimization (SME, Kaizen, 5S).
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and CMMS applications.
- Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage
