• The Accounting Manager will oversee all accounting operations within the organization, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial management. This role requires strong experience in the construction industry, including knowledge of project accounting, cost control, subcontractor payments, and progress billing. The Accounting Manager will play a key role in financial reporting, budgeting, and supporting project teams with financial insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and banking.
• Oversee project accounting — ensure accurate tracking of project costs, revenues, and margins.
• Review and approve progress billings, retention, and change orders in coordination with project managers.
• Monitor cash flow and ensure timely collection of receivables and vendor payments.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

• Develop and maintain cost control systems and ensure adherence to project budgets.
• Supervise and mentor accounting team members; ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Support audits, tax filings, and compliance with local laws and accounting standards.
• Coordinate with procurement and project teams to verify and reconcile supplier and subcontractor accounts.
• Assist in developing and implementing financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Prepare financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses to support management decisions.
• Ensure ERP/accounting systems are effectively used and maintained.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 
  
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
• Minimum 7–10 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Proven experience in the construction industry (contracting, infrastructure)
