Responsibilities:
- Perform independent quantity take-offs.
- Prepare detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQs) and Methods of Measurement (MOMs).
- Prepare high-level (elemental) BOQs.
- Participate in value engineering workshops.
- Attend meetings with the clients to discuss BOQs & MOMs.
- Coordinate with architects and different design trades to understand the design scope.
- Review design changesand assessimplications on BOQ.
- Manage the compilation of the entire BOQ from all design disciplines.
- Maintain logs for measurement records.
- Participate in internal reviews of BOQs and adopt feedback from senior staff.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Architecture Engineering, or Construction Management.
- 5 years of experience in quantity surveying.
- Work experience on international projects (Middle East region) is an added advantage.
- Must have worked in the Building Projects with knowledge of the quantification process of civil, architecture and interior works.
- Must be aware of preparing different BOQ formats (For example, CSI, POMI, CESSM, NRM, etc.)
- Proficient in Excel, Revit and AutoCAD.
