Position Title: Stores Area Manager
Reporting: Reports to the Retail Director and collaborates closely with Operations and Finance. Acts as the key link between HQ and stores for daily operations, financial performance, and SOP compliance.
Purpose of Role:
To lead and manage retail operations across a defined cluster of JIL/KABO stores, ensuring consistent achievement of sales targets, profitability, and customer satisfaction. The Area Manager upholds operational discipline, drives staff development and training compliance, and ensures accurate KPI monitoring and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth and profitability across multiple stores within the assigned region.
- Supervise Store Managers to achieve performance goals in sales, SOP compliance, customer experience, and service KPIs.
- Conduct monthly operational and visual audits covering VM standards, SOP adherence, cash handling, and staff training completion.
- Identify underperforming stores and execute corrective action plans, including performance coaching and retraining.
- Oversee staff turnover, recruitment, and succession planning to ensure optimal workforce stability.
- Coordinate the rollout of marketing campaigns, promotions, and VM updates with the Marketing and VM teams.
- Act as the communication and operations bridge between HQ (HR, Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain) and the retail network.
- Monitor expense control, inventory levels, and operational efficiency to sustain profitability and compliance.
Required Qualifications
- 7–10 years of experience in fashion or apparel retail operations, with proven multi-store or area management exposure.
- Strong business acumen and ability to analyze P&L, ROI, and sales performance reports.
- Demonstrated leadership, team development, and performance management skills.
- Ability to manage complex operations while maintaining customer-centric flexibility.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills in both Arabic and English.
- Proficiency with retail management systems, POS dashboards, and reporting tools.
- High sense of ownership, initiative, and problem-solving capability.
- Based in Cairo with full travel flexibility across Egypt to support store operations and new openings.
