Job Title: Warehouse Manager
Department: Warehouse Management
Reports To: General Manager / Operations Manager
JOB Purpose
To
oversee the full management and organization of all warehouse operations (raw
materials, spare parts, and finished products), ensuring accurate inventory
control, proper storage conditions, and timely availability of materials to
meet production and sales requirements.
Key Responsibilities1. General Warehouse Management
· Develop
and implement warehouse storage and inventory control policies and procedures.
· Supervise
receiving and issuing of items and ensure proper matching with purchase orders
and invoices.
· Organize
warehouse layout for optimal accessibility and safety.
· Prepare
periodic stock movement and inventory balance reports.
· Ensure
strict application of the FIFO (First In, First Out) system.
2. Raw Materials Warehouse (Fabrics –Accessories – Threads)
· Ensure
that all materials are received according to approved quality standards.
· Coordinate
with the production department to provide required materials per work orders.
· Monitor
consumption and waste rates to enhance production efficiency.
· Maintain
appropriate storage conditions (temperature, humidity, ventilation) to preserve
quality.
3. Spare Parts and MaintenanceWarehouse
· Manage
and classify all spare parts by type, equipment, and usage.
· Track
critical parts and initiate reordering when minimum stock levels are reached.
· Coordinate
with the maintenance team to fulfill repair requests promptly and reduce
downtime.
· Keep
detailed movement logs for parts issuance, receipt, and expected service life.
4. Finished Goods Warehouse
· Receive
finished products after final quality approval.
· Organize
storage and stacking to protect product shape and quality.
· Monitor
loading and dispatching to distributors or retail points.
· Prepare
reports on finished goods inventory, turnover rates, and sales trends.
5. Supervisory and OrganizationalTasks
· Lead
and manage the warehouse team, assigning tasks and evaluating daily
performance.
· Oversee
periodic and unplanned stock counts and reconcile records with actual balances.
· Maintain
coordination with other departments (Procurement, Production, Finance, Sales).
· Ensure
compliance with all warehouse safety and security procedures.
· Participate
in the development and enhancement of ERP or electronic inventory systems.
Required Reports
· Weekly
inventory level report.
· Report
on slow-moving items.
· Monthly
stocktaking and discrepancy report.
· Report
on damaged or expired raw materials.
Qualifications and Requirements
· Bachelor’s
degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or Logistics.
· Minimum
of 10 years of experience in warehouse management, Priority to experience in apparel or
textile industries.
· Proficiency
in inventory management systems and Excel.
· Strong
leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
