• Hiring: Production Manager (Garment Factory)
• N AL-Nasser Factory in KOUM-OSHIM requires an experienced Production Manager.
• Key Responsibilities
• · Planning of production units: Production planning, material planning, and machinery planning are done or reviewed by him.
• · Style allocation to units (where handling multiple factories): Based on available capacity and product categories, he allocates styles in different units.
• · Technical setting of the garment: For the reduction of making cost and production-friendly samples, he changes the technical setting of the garment.
• · Production monitoring: Follow up on day-to-day production from each line and ensure that production units meet the target.
• · Factory work study/industrial engineering: Follow up on industrial engineering functions and systems.
• · Quality of the finished product: Ensure that the factory produces quality products with minimal alterations and repairs.
• · Shipment planning and shipments: Plan shipment dispatch with documentation and the shipping department.
• · Costing of production floor: Check manpower costing and try to keep manpower cost under control.
• · Cost-cutting of production processes: Continuously seek ways to minimize production costs.
• Requirements
• · BS degree in a related field.
• · Must have worked in factories involved in apparel garment production to understand the garment production cycle.
• · 10 years of experience in apparel/readymade garments factory management.
• · Rich experience in garment production in terms of process, quality, stock management, and waste utilization.
• · Project management skills.
• · Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing.
