Job Description
- Develop and execute creative interior design concepts for residential and commercial spaces, with a focus on FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) selection and specification.
- Collaborate closely with product designers, engineers, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of ariika’s alternative furniture products into interior design solutions.
- Prepare detailed FF&E schedules, mood boards, and material boards that align with project requirements and brand aesthetics.
- Source, evaluate, and recommend appropriate furniture, fixtures, and equipment, ensuring quality, durability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Oversee the procurement process for FF&E items, coordinating with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery and installation.
- Conduct site visits to assess project progress, verify installation quality, and resolve any design-related issues.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in interior design, materials, and alternative furniture to drive continuous innovation.
- Prepare and present design proposals, 3D renderings, and sample boards to clients and internal stakeholders for approval.
- Ensure all FF&E selections comply with safety, sustainability, and regulatory standards.
- Manage project documentation, including specifications, budgets, and timelines, to ensure successful project delivery.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of professional experience in interior design, with a strong emphasis on FF&E.
- Proven experience working on residential and/or commercial interior projects.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong knowledge of furniture, materials, finishes, and alternative furniture solutions.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics and functionality.
- Ability to work on-site as required and travel to project locations when necessary.
