Position Summary
The Business Development Manager is a key driver of our growth, responsible for generating new business opportunities and expanding our presence in the interior design market. This role combines strategic prospecting, relationship building, and collaborative proposal development to achieve sales targets and strengthen our brand. The ideal candidate is a proactive hunter with a passion for design and a proven ability to close deals.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Acquisition: Proactively identify, qualify, and pursue new sales leads and business opportunities within the interior design sector, including residential, commercial, or hospitality clients.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain a robust network of strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients, industry partners, and professional affiliates.
Strategic Sales Planning: Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to meet and exceed established sales targets and KPIs.
Collaborative Proposal Development: Work closely with our interior design team to create compelling, customized proposals and presentations that effectively win new business.
Market Intelligence: Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and client needs to identify opportunities for growth and inform company strategy.
Brand Representation: Act as a brand ambassador by representing the company at industry events, trade exhibitions, and networking functions to enhance our market presence.
Performance Reporting: Prepare and present regular, detailed reports on sales pipeline, performance metrics, and business development activities to management
Qualifications & Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
1+ years of proven experience in a business development or sales role, preferably within a marketing agency, design firm, or a related creative service industry.
A demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
