Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accounting Manager located in Cairo, Egypt. The Accounting Manager will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including preparing financial statements, managing journal entries, monitoring fixed assets, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The role will involve analysing financial data to support decision-making and maintaining accurate financial records. Collaboration with other departments to ensure seamless financial reporting is also expected.
Job Description:
- Manage general accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivables, general ledger and taxes
- Manage the company cash flow
- Ensures payments
- to all subcontractors and suppliers
- Cost Management and projects profitability
- Preparing analysis and reconciliation of monthly financial activities
- Create, edit and work with legal accountant to provide solid budget and financial statement for taxing purpose and have good experience with governmental tax authority is a must.
Qualifications
- Proficient in preparing and analysing Financial Statements
- 8 - 10 years of experience in Accounting related to construction industry
- Experience in Journal Entries (Accounting)
- Strong Finance and Analytical Skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Capability to work collaboratively and lead accounting teams
- Proficiency in accounting software and tools
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Professional certifications (such as CPA, CMA) are a plus
