Job Scope:

We are looking for an experienced Transportation Manager to lead end-to-end transportation operations and ensure efficient, compliant, and cost-effective movement of goods. The ideal candidate will manage transporter vendor agreements, oversee fleet and routing operations, and ensure seamless integration of transportation systems with port and customs platforms. The role requires strong hands-on experience in port logistics, containerized cargo workflows, and gate processes at ports and dry ports.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation, or related field

• 8+ years of proven experience in transportation or fleet

management

• Solid understanding of customs clearance and daily trucking operations

• Strong knowledge of port logistics, cargo movement, and gate-in/gate-out flow

• Experience managing transporter contracts and performance

• Hands-on experience with transport planning, dispatching, fleet utilization, and routing

• Familiarity with Nafeza & CargoX platforms and documentation procedures

• Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and system integration

• Strong leadership and vendor-management capabilities

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

• Ability to monitor trips, resolve operational issues, and ensure compliance with regulations
