Job description:
We are looking for a Junior Field engineer this is a full-time on-site role located in New Cairo. The Junior Field engineer will be responsible for site service, installation, commissioning, repair, calibration, maintenance, and training.
Responsibilities:
1. Troubleshooting and Technical Support:
-Troubleshooting, testing, repairing and servicing technical equipment.
Diagnosing errors or technical problems and determining proper solutions
2. Service and maintenance:
-Providing service and maintenance support during field visits.
-They will also coordinate with customer representatives in the field and MI Logging Systems' operations department
-Producing service and maintenance reports and Documenting processes
- Making appropriate recommendations and briefing on repairs, diagnostics and equipment specifications
3. Installation and commissioning:
-Conduct field installations and commissioning and calibrations of sensors and systems
-Perform field upgrades of software and hardware and train customers on how to properly operate the system.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field
- Experience in servicing, maintaining, and/or calibrating electronic/analytical equipment
- Familiarity with oilfield terminology and test operations
- Ability to prioritize and manage time-sensitive and competing demands
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a team environment with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Arabic and English
- Willingness to travel on short notice both domestically and internationally
