Job Description
- Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC systems on site according to design drawings and technical specifications.
- Organize materials, ensure the site is safe and clean, and verify that all works comply with project timelines and safety standards.
- Review and interpret HVAC drawings, shop drawings, and technical submittals.
- Prepare Material Inspection Requests (MIR) and Inspection Requests (IR) related to HVAC works.
- Monitor site progress and report updates, issues, and variations to the project manager.
- Participate in testing, balancing, and commissioning of HVAC systems.
- Assist in preparing Quantity Surveying (QS) and As-Built documentation.
- Provide technical support, resolve site issues, and suggest improvements to enhance performance and efficiency.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: 1–2 years of experience in HVAC installation and site supervision (preferably in contracting or MEP companies).
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, ducting, chilled water, and VRF/VRV systems.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical documents.
- Familiarity with MEP coordination and site safety standards.
