Role Description
We are seeking a full-time Junior Editor to join our creative production team in Cairo.
The Junior Editor will edit a variety of
video content, including commercials, branded videos, and social media campaigns.
You’ll collaborate closely with the production and post-production teams to ensure every project meets Valyou’s creative and technical standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing and organizing raw footage.
- Assembling rough and final cuts.
- Implementing feedback from the Executive Producer and creative leads.
- Ensuring all deliverables meet deadlines and quality benchmarks.
- Assisting with color correction, sound syncing, and motion graphics (when needed).
Qualifications
- years of experience in video editing (agency or production background preferred).
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve.
- Strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual rhythm.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced creative environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Communications, or related field (preferred).
