Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Parts Planning Officer located in Egypt. The Parts Planning Officer will be responsible for developing and implementing efficient parts planning strategies to support operations. Daily tasks include demand forecasting, inventory control, ensuring timely procurement, and coordinating with relevant departments to meet operational requirements. The role will also involve maintaining accurate records and contributing to process improvements in parts planning and distribution.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure parts, materials, and resources are available to meet planned shutdowns and weekly maintenance schedules.
- Generate all ANSI’s to guarantee spare availability for the maintenance department.
- Identify and manage spare parts and resources effectively to meet business needs.
- Develop comprehensive work packs for standard maintenance tasks.
- Coordinate parts transfers from warehouse to job sites.
- Raise purchase requisitions and monitor order progress.
- Maintain high workplace standards — cleanliness, organization, and compliance with company policies.
- Support company training, succession programs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Mechanical engineering or trade background (or related experience).
- 3–4 years of experience in a parts-related field within mining or mineral processing operations.
- Proficient in CMMS systems and Microsoft Office products.
- Recognized proficiency in English and/or Arabic.
- Egyptian driver’s license preferred (not essential).
