Job Summary:
The candidate will be responsible for performing spectrometer readings and visual inspections on seamless dye tubes at all stages of the dyeing process. This individual will also play a key role in coordinating with the Delta USA team for special approvals and managing the dyeing care of risk assessments alongside the dye house team. Timely and clear communication with relevant teams about color approval status will be an essential aspect of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
1-Spectrometer and Visual Inspection:
- Perform spectrometer readings to ensure color accuracy and consistency of seamless dye tubes.
- Conduct thorough visual checks of dye samples , identifying any deviations from the approved color standards.
2-Dyeing Risk Assessment Coordination:
- Work closely with the dye house team to assess and mitigate risks during the dyeing process.
3-Daily Color Approval Feedback:
- Provide daily updates on color approval status to relevant teams.
4-Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all spectrometer readings, visual inspections, and color approvals.
- Prepare and present reports on color status, highlighting key issues or areas requiring attention.
- Update and maintain color shade bands for future reference.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Textile Science, Color Science, or related field (preferred).
- Certification in Color Management or related qualifications (a plus).
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a colorist or dyeing specialist role, particularly in a textile or garment production environment.
