Role Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Odoo Developer to join our team and contribute to designing, developing, customizing, and deploying Odoo ERP solutions tailored to business needs.
The role involves working across multiple Odoo modules including Sales, Inventory, Purchase, Accounting, CRM, Manufacturing, HR, POS, and custom applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable, efficient ERP workflows.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing and customizing Odoo modules (Odoo.sh, Community, and Enterprise).
- Designing new features and improving existing workflows.
- Creating and maintaining Odoo backend logic, APIs, and integrations with third-party systems.
- Translating business requirements into technical specifications.
- Troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing performance.
- Building custom reports, dashboards, and automated workflows.
- Participating in deployment, migration, version upgrades, and maintenance.
- Working closely with functional consultants, designers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Odoo Developer (minimum 1-3 years preferred).
- Strong knowledge of Python, PostgreSQL, and Odoo ORM.
- Experience with Odoo modules, customization, and module development.
- Understanding of Odoo architecture, models, views, access control, and security.
- Familiarity with XML, QWeb, JavaScript, jQuery, and Odoo Web framework.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Odoo.sh or Odoo on premises hosting environments.
- Experience integrating Odoo with external systems (REST API, SOAP, payment gateways, e-commerce platforms like WooCommerce/Shopify, POS, RFID, barcode systems).
- Understanding of accounting workflows, supply chain, inventory management, or manufacturing processes.
- Ability to develop custom widgets and advanced UI components.
- Experience with Odoo upgrade scripts, data migration, and multi-company setups.
