Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) policies and procedures in alignment with local and international regulations.
Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits across all operational sites, including remote rigs and transportation hubs.
Lead incident investigations, analyze root causes, and recommend corrective and preventive actions to mitigate future risks.
Deliver HSE training and awareness programs to employees, contractors, and drivers to ensure compliance and promote a safety-first culture.
Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics, preparing detailed documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and logistics teams to ensure safe handling and transportation of hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
Ensure all equipment, vehicles, and facilities meet safety standards and are regularly inspected and maintained.
Liaise with regulatory authorities and ensure timely submission of required permits, reports, and documentation.
Stay updated on evolving HSE regulations and best practices, integrating them into company policies and procedures.
Promote continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workplace safety, environmental stewardship, and operational efficiency.
Job Requirements
Minimum of 7 years of experience in HSE engineering, preferably within the heavy transportation, logistics, or oil and gas sectors.
Proven track record in developing and implementing HSE management systems and policies.
Strong knowledge of local and international HSE regulations and standards.
Experience conducting risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations.
Excellent communication and training skills, with the ability to engage diverse teams.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in preparing HSE reports, documentation, and compliance submissions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to travel to remote sites and work in field conditions as required.
