Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for a Programming and Robotics Instructor. The instructor will design and deliver engaging programming and robotics lessons tailored for children aged 7 to 16. Responsibilities include creating lesson plans, teaching core programming concepts, guiding students through hands-on robotics projects, and fostering an inclusive and encouraging learning environment for all participants. The role involves utilizing creativity to make technical subjects enjoyable and ensuring students develop skills for future academic and professional endeavors.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++
- Experience in Robotics, including building and programming hardware components
- Strong teaching or mentoring skills, especially with children or teenagers
- Ability to design curriculum and projects for beginner to intermediate level learners
- Passion for STEM education and fostering a love for technology among young learners
- Organizational and time management skills
- Previous experience working in educational institutions or enrichment programs is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Education, or related field is preferred
