We are hiring Contracting Manager (Tourism) with the following job description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Negotiate contracts with hotels, airlines, car rental agencies, and other travel suppliers.
- Ensure favorable terms and conditions, competitive pricing, and added value for the agency’s clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, both locally and internationally.
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues that may arise, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on the latest market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing team ,& operation team to ensure contracted services align with customer needs and marketing strategies.
- Provide training and support to internal teams on new products or changes to existing contracts.
- Prepare regular reports on supplier performance, pricing trends, and contract status.
- Present findings to senior management and provide recommendations for optimization.
- Manage any emergency situations with suppliers (e.g., overbooking, service failures) and find prompt solutions.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in a contracting role within the travel industry preferred in OTA
- Minimum 3 years in a Managerial Level.
- Proven track record of successful contract negotiations with suppliers.
- Strong understanding of the travel industry, including trends, pricing models, and channel manager.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis.
