We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Site Engineer with a specialization in wood works to join our team in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will oversee project execution, manage site operations, and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards in all wooden constructions. This role is critical to the successful completion of our projects within budget and on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee woodwork-related construction projects from inception to completion.
• Coordinate and supervise construction teams and subcontractors to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with design specifications.
• Review project plans, drawings, and specifications and provide technical guidance specific to woodworking.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure health and safety regulations are being followed and that work is meeting quality standards.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations effectively, ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Communicate with clients and stakeholders to provide updates and address any issues that arise during the construction process.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including daily reports, project logs, and material orders.
• Assist in resolving any technical issues that arise on-site, providing solutions as needed.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in site engineering, with at least 2 years specifically in wood works.
• Proven experience in managing construction projects and leading teams.
• Strong understanding of woodworking techniques, materials, and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong project management skills, including proficiency in scheduling and cost estimation software.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and clients.
• Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations related to construction and woodworking.
